FAQ’s

  • I currently have offices in Burbank and Newport Beach. If you are interested in virtual therapy, I am able to see you as long as you are located in California.

  • I try to accommodate my schedule for my clients, who often have fluctuating schedules themselves. Typically I work in the afternoons to evenings on weeknights.

  • I have 50 minute sessions for individuals and couples. Sessions are typically once a week, but we can discuss whether we will need to increase or decrease the frequency of our sessions depending on your circumstances.

  • I charge $170 for individuals at $190 for couples.

  • I am not in-network with insurance companies. However, I can offer a superbill that you can you may receive 0-100% reimbursement of your out-of-pocket cost.

  • I do have slots reserved for a reduced fee based on evidence of need and availability.

  • Sessions must be cancelled or rescheduled within a 24-hour window. Otherwise, you will be charged the full session fee.

  • The initial visit is a period for us to get to know each other and start to develop a plan to achieve your goals. It’s an opportunity for me to gather information about your personal and family history and hear more about what you’re currently experiencing. We will also spend time discussing our goals and expectations for therapy. I can also answer any questions or concerns you may have.

  • Although my degree is in Marriage and Family Therapy, my expertise and experience is not just limited to marriages and families - I work with individuals and teenagers as well. However, I view all my clients through the context of their relationships and communities.

  • The duration of therapy can vary significantly, depending on the nature of your challenges. If you're facing a sudden and unexpected crisis, you might find the support you need in a relatively short period, typically around 4-6 weeks. However, if your therapy goals involve addressing issues that have been part of your life for many years, it's likely that you'll need at least 3 months to start observing meaningful progress. Some clients opt for long-term therapy, which can extend up to 1-2 years, depending on their specific needs, circumstances, and goals. The length of your therapy journey will be an ongoing topic of discussion between you and your therapist throughout the treatment process.

  • You are welcome to pause or end sessions as you see fit. My ultimate goal for clients is for them to “graduate” from therapy when they feel they are doing a lot better and feel capable of handling challenges on their own.
